I’m Pollyana Schieber, a multimedia creative based in Toronto.

I’m Pollyana Schieber, a Brazilian multimedia creative based in Toronto who loves to tell stories that positively impact people’s lives through videography, design, and photography.

I first started in the industry at a very young age as a photo retoucher and photographer’s assistant. From that moment on, the interest in visually communicating my work just happened, fell into my lap, as I wanted to understand more about these tools that move the world of communication and media, so, as a natural storyteller, it seemed logical to me to follow my passion professionally. 

My work is based on having a well-defined understanding of what people need to be able to map out each step of the process, making a detailed analysis of what will be feasible to apply to the project so that the idea comes to life. That skill has been acquired with my experience as a lawyer since, even in law, we must build a compelling narrative based on concrete facts that serve as a basis for the judge’s decision, and carefully preparing such facts is vital to achieving a positive outcome. Most importantly, I was able to develop my ability to empathetically listen to people to grasp their needs and expectations better to then translate them into creative solutions, expertise I use throughout all my projects.

I am passionate about bringing a meaningful contribution to people’s lives, and being able to do that by creating or participating in the development of a unique and involving narrative that speaks to the audience is something I will continuously pursue as a professional.
